Please register at OFNO.org for lunch
Join us for the Dedication of Santa Teresita del Nino Jesus Girls Dormitory
You will need a passport (or birth certificate for kids) and water. We meet at the parking lot of St. Elizabeth Seton at 9 am for prayer and carpool. The dedication is at 11 am with the Archbishop of Tijuana followed by lunch.
Remember to bring a valid passport (picture ID and ORIGINAL birth certificate for those under 18 years) for re-entry to the US. Carpools are encouraged. If you will be driving across to the orphanage, it is required that all cars have liability insurance at a minimum (approx $15 per day). Check with your auto insurance company for assistance on acquiring coverage. AAA sells insurance and you may also purchase them before entering the Mexican border. Click here for more important details (directions, trip information etc.)
The orphanage is only 6 miles from the US border. Please bring water, hat and sunscreen. The wait at the border upon your return to San Diego (passport inspection) can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the line.
Please visit OFNO.org where you can learn more about how you can participate in this growing ministry and sign up for our trip/s! If you are unable to travel with us, we thank you in advance for your continued prayers for our safety and generosity that allows us to continue to purchase supplies for various work projects. God bless!
